Top 3 Pick-me-Ups 1/28/13

Why "pick-me-ups"? As a Mom, I find that I need a word of encouragement, a new way of looking at a problem, or a new idea to try every once in a while. I'm glad to share with you 3 of the websites or blog posts that have helped me in some way---I hope it will be a blessing for you, too!  Keep an eye out for these each Monday  :-)

We've been learning about the creation of the world with the two younger children this month. I started looking at some photos of the Milky Way galaxy online and came across a few fun things that I shared with all the kids, so it's perfect to pass on  to you for this week's Top 3!

1. Nasa's Astronomy Picture of the Day archive has some breathtaking images to view online. You won't want to miss Yosemite Winter Night.

2.  YouTube's Scientific American Space Lab show is pretty cool. (Parents, some episodes may not kid-friendly. Discretion recommended.)
