Best of the Block Towers 2012

My husband likes to make these giant towers for the kids using wooden blocks my Dad made for me and my siblings 'back-in-the-day'. The tradition continues!

Here are some of our favorites.

What are your fond childhood memories? Did you build with blocks?

  1. wow, they certainly are *giant* lol! what fun for little boys (and girls too I suppose) :)
I was just sharing some of my games from childhood with Rebekah the other day - let's see, backyard cricket, monopoly, marbles, playing with our dog, pick up sticks and pick up stones (sort of like pick up sticks). She was very intrigued by this last one lol! I need to demo it for her.

    1. Ah, the games of childhood! Thanks for sharing yours. Cricket is a mystery to me as we grew up playing baseball in the street. I think that one would be fun to learn. So, Rebekah is interested in pick up sticks. How fun to re-live some of those good memories together!
