Bring on the Education Revolution

I enjoy watching TED talks and this one is witty, thought-provoking and beautiful. And REAL. It's not just a pretty speech. What he talks about IS going on in thousands of homes and a handful of schools and communities. That is, people are finding ways to make for themselves and their families the kind of learning environments that make them come alive.

In our family, we are revolutionizing the way we learn by choosing individualized learning at home/in our community that a school cannot provide. I heartily agree with Ken when he points out that learning, and living, are organic and not linear processes. If you don't know what that means, you'll just have to view the video to find out!

  1. Sooo TRUE. It's not linear AT ALL. I am going to watch this tomorrow!

  2. cool! you know I'd never heard of TED talks until last Sunday when our pastor played a clip of a guy called Brian Stephenson at church doing one of these talks, it was inspiring!

Thanks for your comment today! I love reading your thoughts, too. :-)
